Osservatorio Pubblico Astronomico - (Public astronomical observation) is held on various dates, which will be communicated each month, every 15 or 20 days, at the Tavarnelle Val di Pesa Tourist Information Office (in Piazza Matteotti ). The Group supplies telescopes, projection and comment of slides, debates…both in English and Italian language

Trekking Group Tavarnelle V.P. - Every sunday morning, the Group organizes guided walking tours in the country and in the hills of Tavarnelle V.P. The meeting place is at Piazza Matteotti , in the Tavarnelle Council Offices at 8.30 a.m.; the return time is 12.00 a.m. The participation is free and must be booked at the Tourist Information Office of Tavarnelle V.P.

The territory of Tavarnelle V.P. is part of an " Integrated Project for Outings ". Its 64 different itineraries satisfy the requirements of all people that enjoy cycling and hiking or horse riding, who wish to visit the Chianti region. Besides, there are small maps and hints for very significant local trekking itineraries. Furthermore, a series of hippo-itineraries have been marked: an "equestrian loop" throughout the area for trips that can last a day, half a day or just a few hours with rest stops and refreshments in villages or farms or simply in a small forest.

Museo di Arte Sacra della Pieve - (Sacred Art Museum of Pieve)The museum is open to the public, free, on Saturday and Sunday from 4.30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Together with the Association "Friends of the Sacred Art Museum" ("Amici del Museo di Arte Sacra") of Pieve di S.Pietro in Bossolo (Romanesque parish church of the XI century) group visits can be organized, usually during closing days, with 1 or 2 days notice.

Monastero Badia a Passignano - (Badia a Passignano Monastery)The church is open to the public only for church services,by ringing the bell and asking for a visit. It is usually possible to visit the monastery also during other times. "L’ultima cena" ( The Last Supper) by Ghirlandaio can also be seen during the visit.

Santuario di S.Maria del Carmine al Morrocco - (S.Maria del Carmine al Morrocco Sanctuary)This church is open to the public only for church services, by ringing the bell of the Monache Carmelitane Scalze Convent( Carmelite Nuns Convent) (next to the Sanctuary), and asking for a visit. It is usually possible to visit it also during other times.
